Help spread holiday cheer to Oakland County foster children by joining Shear Serenity in supporting the Stockings for Joy project. Bring in small treats, trinkets, and treasures to donate and your gifts will be used to stuff stockings for local foster kids. Summer is wedding season and we have the privilege of helping many brides look amazing on their special day. Check out some of our recent work below. Congratulations to all our beautiful brides and thank you for letting Shear Serenity be part of your day! At Shear Serenity, we love our senior clients! Everybody deserves to feel special and beautiful and the smiles on these ladies show that they feel the love when they leave the salon. Our stylists take extra care of hair that is thinning and specialize in color and conditioning services that make clients of all ages look and feel fantastic. Check out some of our recent work and talk to your stylist if you would like to make your special event even more fabulous! We want to welcome our newest member of the team at Shear Serenity, Reva! You may recognize her smiling face when you come in the salon. Reva is our receptionist and new to her role with us, but she has worked in salons around the Lakes area and has lived in the community for many years. Reva will help you schedule your appointment and accept your payments. She is excited to meet you so stop in soon to say hi to Reva!
 In case you haven't had a chance to meet her yet, we would like to introduce you to Sue Jorgensen, our newest stylist at Shear Serenity. Sue has lived in the community for more than 30 years, raising her family here. She has worked as a stylist in the community too, most recently at Salon Penni in Walled Lake. We are thrilled to have her join our team. Next time you're in, stop by her chair to welcome her and say hello!
Sometimes the holidays are just a little bit too much to handle! All kidding aside, we hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. We were so excited to be part of the first ever ViewFest mental health festival held at Walled Lake Central on October 9. This was a great chance for our stylists to connect with the community by doing braids and promoting self-care. We saw lots of familiar faces and made new friends who know that if you look good, you feel good!
